The LINC lesson from last week was all about Digital Citizenship. You have the next three days to complete a stop motion video about any of the topics discussed in that presentation (digital disrespect, cyberbullying, or sexting).
  • Requirements
    • Use Stop Motion
    • 30 sec long
    • Must have at least 2 fps (I would prefer 3-5)
    • Export to iMovie
      • Add message, title & credits
    • Export to Google share with me
    • Upload to YouTube
    • Share to your Blog
      • Use this post to reflect about your digital citizen topic
        • Why did you select this message?
        • How have you been affected by it?
        • How have you seen others affected by it?
        • How do you deal with it?

QR Code Creation

Robotics Clip

Twitter Post
Using the website QR Stuff I want you to create two different QR Codes. Please take a moment to scan each QR to see what happens. You must use two different data types for example, I used a YouTube Video, a Twitter post, and two different URLs.  Take time to change the color and play with the web address settings. Post both of your codes to your blog. Please add
captions to your QR codes like I did in your post and write a few short sentences about what your responsibilities are for the QR School Tour.

iPhoto Slideshow - Principles & Elements Assignment

Now that you are a photography expert, you will show the class your skills. Create an iPhoto slide show of your 12 elements & principles of design. Use text to label each element & principle. Be sure to have a title slide and use a theme for your show. When you are finished with your show, create a new blog post and talk about your favorite photos and why you like them. Your homework for the weekend will be to watch 5 of your classmates shows and make one comment on a photo that they took.

Principles & Elements of Design

Had tons of super fun learning about the principles and elements of design. I am really enjoying using my digital camera and learning lots about it. I used iPhoto to create this picture slideshow. It was really simple to use and took me just minutes to create!

So Far Behind!

Blogs have so many purposes, they are used to keep family in touch, people write about their lifestyle, and some are for ranting...I don't normally like to go there, but here it comes. For those of you who are all caught up and on the ball, I truly appreciate your work ethic specifically: Chelsea, Morgan, and Bailee. As for the rest of you this is your wake up call, if you do not have these assignments done by Friday at 3 pm, I am putting in zeros and you WILL be FAILING this class. I cannot allow you to leave the school with so much uncompleted work. Therefore you need to get your act together. This is what your blog posts should look like:

  • Tech Review of WeVideo
  • Your About Me Video
  • Tech Review of Animoto
  • Review of some of the best apps that you saw (see my blogpost)
  • Blog post of 4-6 digital photo examples that you shot telling which ones you liked and what camera setting you were using and the ones you didn't like and the camera setting.
  • You were also required to update you blogger profile with a picture and some information.

App Reflection...

Just a few apps that we used...
On today and Friday, you watched many demonstrations of different Google apps. Take some time to tell me which apps you thought were useful and why you thought so. Since we saw so many apps about photo manipulation, which one did you think was most useful? Which would you use? Why? Remember to respond with two or three paragraphs and add at least one graphic. Also tell me what did you think of the exercise. Did you like learning something new? Did you like or dislike presenting, did you feel you got any useful information from the presentations. Be honest this is helpful for deciding future activities for this class.
